Industrial TX has completed a series of major upgrades and improvements at the East Water Purification Plant for the City of Houston.
Key Accomplishments:
- Installation of New Clarifier Mechanisms at Plant 3 as well as structural improvements
- Installation of New Vertical Flocculators at Plant 3 as well as structural improvements
- Replacement of the Chlorine Wet Scrubbers with Dry Scrubbers at Plants 1, 2 & 3 Chlorine Buildings
- Complete Demolition and Replacement of the Chlorine System at Plants 1, 2 & 3, Including New Chlorine Piping, Chlorine Evaporators, Chlorinators, Injectors, and Improvements to the Chlorine Ton Container Building
- Emergency Repairs to all 36 Gravity Filters at Plants 1, 2 & 3
Ongoing Work:
- Replacement of Large Valves and Actuators at the Plant 1 & 2 High Service Pump Station
- Conversion of the Railcar Buildings into Chlorine Ton Cylinder Storage at Plants 1, 2 & 3 as well as Life Safety System Improvements
